What is Narwhal Sensory Box (NSB)?
NSB is a mom-owned small business that curates sensory boxes for little ones. Our inventory includes educational, fun and cute themes. Through our product we promote kid’s creativity, imagination and exploration. The variety of objects and materials, including homemade scented play dough, are ideal to encourage free and imaginary play.
What items are included in a Narwhal Sensory Box:
Each box contains natural materials such as: rocks, wood, sticks, birch and more. It also includes homemade scented play dough, felt, cookie cutters, pipe cleaners, wooden letters, figure toys and other items that seem appropriate to stimulate children’s creativity, imagination and exploration. Each box is made to order so all are unique, you may find a variation of colors and objects in each box.

Tell me about the homemade scented play dough:
The play dough is homemade, non-toxic and not edible. Colored with food coloring and scented with all natural essential oils to provide an awesome smell. We use all purpose flour, salt, oil, and water to make the dough.
Can we get non-scented play dough in my Narwhal Sensory Box?
Absolutely, if you think your kid may not like scented play dough you can specify that when you place your order.
What are the care instructions for the play dough?
After each playing session store the play dough in their jars or in a ziplock bag. If the play dough is stored correctly it could last for several months. Expect the scent to fade as time goes by
My play dough is becoming dry or it’s having salt crystals, what should I do?
Use vegetable, baby or coconut oil to soften your play dough. Just knead the play dough with some oil in your hands until the dryness or salt crystals disappear.
What is a Mini Narwhal Sensory Box?
A Mini is a small version of a regular NSB, it contains fewer items and one play dough ball.
What is a Refill Sack?
A refill sack is a great option for the ones wanting to refill an existing NSB or for those using other ways to present sensory play to their little ones such as, wooden trays, flower trays or other things.
Can children with special abilities enjoy a Narwhal Sensory Box?
Yes! If your kid enjoys feeling different textures, smelling different scents, manipulating different objects YES! A NSB will be an awesome toy for them.
What is your Return Policy?
All sales are final, meaning “No Returns/No Refunds”. However, if you have a problem with your order contact us asap, we will try to work with you and find a solution.
Do you create custom/special orders?
Yes, share with us your idea and we will do our best to make it a reality.
What is the processing time?
The turn around time to process is one week (7 days) from the day you place your order plus shipping time (this varies depending on location).
